Making the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Riau a center for the development of science and technology and the education of experts in the application of modern technology in the fields of production technology and machine maintenance in developing the potential and development of the Riau region.

1. Professionally providing education in the field of mechanical engineering to produce graduates who are skilled in the field of machine production and maintenance.
2. Producing graduates who are able to develop themselves in response to changes and developments in Science and Technology.

4. Producing graduates who have socio-cultural, environmental and business responsibilities as professional mechanical engineering graduates and understand the needs and principles of sustainable development.

To become a leading Master's Program Nationally and Internationally based on environmentally conscious Mechanical Engineering by 2035.

1. To provide master's education and research in the fields of Mechanical Design Engineering; Energy Conversion and Conservation; Materials Engineering; Manufacturing and Automation Engineering, which have academic excellence and professionalism.
2. To develop cooperation with various parties at the regional, national and international levels and contribute to solving problems in the industrial community.
3. To improve the quality of education, professionalism, capability, accountability and regularly evaluate the implementation of the mechanical engineering master's program.
